Nashville Web Design Firm Brand Aid Design Co. (formerly of Charlotte, NC) Nabs Gold In ADDY® Awards Competition.

On March 9, 2006, Brand Aid Design Co., LLC won its second ADDY® award in the company’s less than three year history, taking home a Gold ADDY® from the Charlotte Ad Club’s annual ADDY® Awards Show. The awards ceremony, sponsored by the Charlotte Observer and held at the Big Cill on 911 East Morehead Street , boldly re-introduced Brand Aid Design Co., LLC to the Charlotte advertising and design community for the second year in a row.

Brand Aid received a Gold ADDY Award for their work with the Ernest Hemingway Furniture web site for Thomasville Furniture Industries, Inc. Brand Aid latched onto a strong concept in which Hemingway’s life and works provided the backdrop to represent the new furniture line in bold fashion. Every aspect of the website, from the text to the iconic imagery, reinforced the initial concept behind the project.

The ADDY® Awards Competition is a three-tiered national competition conducted annually by the American Advertising Federation. The ADDY® Awards Competition is the advertising industry’s largest and most representative competition for creative excellence.

On a crisp Fall evening in October, 2003, Brand Aid Design Co., LLC was officially hatched. Since then, Brand Aid has worked on brands like like Combi, Merrill Lynch, Home Depot, Thomasville Furniture, Pearson Furniture, Hickory Chair, Ernest Hemingway® and Humphrey Bogart®.
